If you didn’t participate last year, here’s the skinny: Standard Pacific Homes of Charlotte is giving our Facebook fans a chance to win free furniture. We thought StanPac home buyers would especially appreciate some furniture to complement their new homes, but the contest is open to everyone!

The prizes this year include a $1000 grand prize gift card and six $500 gift cards to Tyndall Furniture in Charlotte. Plus, we’ll also be giving away decor accessories from our model homes.

Charlotte-area Realtors, homeowners, home shoppers and furniture lovers — we invite you to enter our Friends with Furniture contest. Here’s how to submit your entry (visit friendswithfurniture.com or our Facebook page for more info):

1. Become a fan of Standard Pacific Homes – Charlotte on Facebook
2. Visit any one of our Charlotte-area locations and take a photo in one of our communities (Ex. Photo of your favorite model home, community, amenity or sales representative)
3. Upload your photo with a comment to our Charlotte Fan Page wall
4. Go to www.friendswithfurniture.com and submit the link to your photo or simply e-mail the link to entry@friendswithfurniture.com
5. Your e-mail submission enters you into the contest. Only e-mail submissions count as valid entries.
6. Repeat this process up to once a week until the end of the contest on November 1st. Entries must be from a different community each week with maximum total of (6) possible entries for the promotion.
7. Attend our Friends with Furniture Event at the Reserve at Gold Hill clubhouse on November 6th for the live drawing of winners.

So our Friends with Furniture contest officially ended on the 31st with 60 entries! If you missed your chance to enter to win our model home furniture, don’t worry – you still have a chance to win some great prizes through the raffle at the event. We’ll be raffling off 10 tool kits (calling all new homeowners!) and some Cold Stone Creamery ice cream pies.

You can’t buy the raffle tickets – so how do you get them? Glad you asked. Do any (or all!) of these things and receive a raffle ticket for each:

• Tell us your favorite Cold Stone ice cream flavor or creation via Facebook or Twitter (but you can only have one favorite!)
• Become a Facebook fan of  Friends with Furniture sponsor (and our favorite Charlotte moving company) Gentle Giant Moving Company, and let us know that you’ve become a fan
