Charlotte M.A.M.E. Awards Recap

Saturday night, March 28, 2009, the Homebuilder’s Association of Charlotte held their annual M.A.M.E. Awards Banquet at the Westin Hotel. It was a great evening for Standard Pacific Homes who won three prestigious awards, one in every category entered.

Leslie Loveless, the New Homes Specialist at Standard Pacific Homes took the award for the “Internet Sales Counselor of the Year.” Leslie has been working for Standard Pacific as their New Homes Specialist for almost two years out of the seven that she has been in Internet Sales. Lanny Horton, Standard Pacific’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing says, “…she is the epitome of excellence in that position.” In 2008, Leslie produced 62 internet sales. In 2009 Leslie expanded her role at Standard Pacific. She now has Internet Sales Counselor responsibility for the Carolinas Division, both Charlotte and Raleigh, serving 27 communities.

Standard Pacific won the Gold Award for “Model Interior Merchandising of the Year – Townhomes Up to $200,000” for the Dickinson model at Skybrook, located in Huntersville. Skybrook is a beautiful golf club community with excellent amenities including four swimming pools, tennis courts, a clubhouse with a fitness center and a 3-acre lake for fishing. The Dickinson model is a spacious three story, 2,245 square foot townhome, with a contemporary design using chocolate, pinks and ivory. The easy flowing open floor plan has a mixture of modern and classic dark wood furniture Floor plans range in Skybrook range from 2,236 to 2,264 square feet with prices starting at $174,400.

The Standard Pacific Homes Design Studio won the Silver Award for “Design Center of the Year.” The Design Studio features hundreds of options in its 4,600 square feet from cabinetry to surround sound. Buyers are able to meet with a Design Professional that will guide them in personalizing their new home and tailoring it to their individual taste. The Design Studio has “Preview Night Thursdays,” which enables buyers and potential buyers to look at the vast array of options as well as showing them how the selection process will work.
